BLOGPOLL- After the Olympics - are we ready to gather around the TV for the Democrats?

We just went through a rarity. In this day and age it’s not often you see much of the nation gathered around tv sets watching the same thing on the same channel. The Olympics did that.
Now here come the Democrats. And next the Republicans. A week of speeches and calls to arms. A week showing off their candidate in the best possible light.
So are you watching? What do you think of it so far? Will you be watching the Republicans?

Even though I enjoyed the Olympics very much, and what seems like 4 years of continual “political olympics”, I will not be watching the conventions. I have had enough, thank you very much!
I doubt I will watch the conventions, I have heard enough of their lies already. Nobody ever follows through with what they promise so why watch them make the promises.
Heck NO!! i don’t like any of them. They all lie to get where they want to be and ofcorse their palms gets greased with money. we need to revamp the whole system and have no more career politions. limit all offices to 4 years with no running again. Get rid of all the lobbyist, let the people run the country again not Corperations and Lawyers.
I’ve got better things to do....No matter what they say, once they’re elected everything changes..
