Bridge Dangers - where do they lie?

You drive over bridges and overpasses everyday. Hopefully none of them wind up looking like this, especially if you’re driving over it.
This bridge collapsed in rural Cherokee County. Another one collapsed in York County.
SC has some bridges listed in dismal shape.
Do you drive over any that you think need attention?

my concern are the bridges after the tiger river prison on rt56, they look old and very narrow, plus on the way back from 26 going to pauline, one of the bridges has a very bad bump when you first hit the bridge, makes my front wheels shake while i’m going over the bridge. i think these narrow bridges need to be replaced, they are eerie enough going over them alone, but hiting one when an 18 wheeler comming in the other direction? oy!!!
I don’t like to go over older bridges if I can help it. I will go miles out of my way to miss them because I dont trust them one bit. We have major roads sinking in and I’m not gonna take a chance on a bridge that looks older than my grandmother.
Ever since the huge bridge collapse that was all over the news last year, my children are a little leary of going over any bridge, and with good reason. There is a bridge on 26 close to exit 49 that has big chunks out of it where someone has hit it and nothing has been done about it. Yet again I say that if OUR tax dollars were used appropriately, public safety would not be jeopardized…
