I was never bullied in school, and I grew up in new york, I realized early that once you stand up for yourself a bully will leave you alone.

I have three sons, and all three never had a problem of being bullied, I taught them to stand up for themselves.

Honestly, I’ve dealt with it more as an adult than I did as a child, but the reason was the same as above.  As a child, I immediately fought back, which is what I’ve taught my son to do, and people looked for greener pastures.  As an adult, I’ve reached the point of being tired of arrogance and callousness and just ignoring it.  Call it karma or sewing and reaping or what goes around comes around, but I’ve lived long enough to see that I don’t have to fight bullies...life gets around to it.
