Live Chat - We’re the first station in the nation where you can chat live with the anchor during the entire broadcast.
Viewers gather in our chat room, but unlike others that get a bad rap for bad behavior… we’ve got a clean chat room, focused on the news your’re watching weeknights at ten, and how people are reacting to the stories and issues.
All you do is click on the green live chat box (you’ll see it on left side of screen) and click register, then create your user name and password. Some of our chatters say this is the first chat room they’ve been in, so don’t be afraid!
I’ve also got social websites, on Facebook and Myspace. You can also follow my twitter updates, by sending a text message to this number 40404 and type in the words—follow cwchat (no space in cwchat). You can always text in comments if you’re not by your computer. After you send the follow cwchat message then when you want to text in comments you call that same 40404 number and put in @cwchat and then type your message
You can see what some of the messages I’ve sent out look like, on the web home of cwchat twitter http://www.twitter.com/cwchat
I hosted my first internet radio show and LIVE CHATTER Annette joined me, calling into the show to explain what she enjoys about live chat.
You can listen here. Annette joins me about 17 minutes into the show, and you can move the bar on the show to the right and you’ll see the time change.
I was a guest on a social media radio show recently… you can click here to listen

It is totally awesome!! Channel 7 roxx! been watching for years now!!! Try it!
This is the first time I’ve noticed that our news is THIS interactive. Many news programs run polls, read emails, etc., but this is so much better! Technology has enabled some amazing things and it is nice to see some of the more social technologies being put to use, especially in such a practical way. Annette’s analogy of “extending the couch” was a great one!
Hi! Just been checking out your stuff.
Can you believe Tim is 21 today…
He has a myspace spot…Tim Mccurry
WHY DON’T THEY GET THE PEOPLE OFF THE TARMAC?? THEY LANDED ALMOST AN HOUR AGO AND THE PEOPLE ARE JUST STANDING AROUND IN THE COLD AND RAIN! THERE IS NO REASON A BUS SHOULDN’T HAVE BEEN READY, THIS PROBLEM WAS REPORTED TO THE AIRPORT AROUND 4 P.M.!!
Amy,
Is WSPA picking up any of the feeds from your Charleston affiliate about the Spoleto Festival?
It is a very sad day, IE court ruling
I realise alot of people think this is a “fix”, however in 2 years, the money will be gone, a larger hole will be opened and remember, this money has to be paid back with interest, so—on the news, Tom’s report stated more can be hired for teaching and some “pork” can be started - what happens in 2 years????? regret the court gave in - hmmmm they are getting how much money from this stimulus package????? All I can say is - “In 2 years, I do not want to hear any grumbling about higher taxes on anything - because I’m going to be the one giggling!!!!! “TOLD YA SO”
who was in charge while he was off getting his rock off?
who pay for the trip?
I hear the SC stimulus money is to be used for a Air Argentina runway up near the Appalacnian trail..is that relly true???
Can u believe what is happening in gaffney in the last 5 days?
Steve McNair actually attended Alcorn State University, not Southern Miss.
People are always wanting to kick God out of everything until there is a disaster! Keep Him in or out. If we’re smart, we’ll keep Him in. What’s wrong with having Him mentioned at a graduation anyway? All He is is LOVE!
