What is it about Hollywood folks that has us all captivated with stars in our eyes? All eyes are peeled for a glimpse of George Clooney in Greer as he looks for the perfect spot for his new movie Leatherheads. So are you getting caught up in the Clooney mania? Just wanted you all to know, in case you don’t know it now, but George Clooney and company will be filming some scenes in Anderson at the old Calhoun Hotel in its lobby section. They have added a fake fire place and a check-in desk to the lobby’s furnishings to make it look like it fits into the movie’s time period (1920s). The Calhoun itself was built in the 20s.
