I think the dog owner should be locked up and the key thrown away! Nobody should kill an animal deliberately! Animals are helpless and rely on us to take care of them not kill them. Whoever owned that cat loved them and is probally heartbroken. I know there is instances where you have to put an animal down and I get upset from that, but this just makes me mad enough to hurt those people. Give the animal away before you hurt it. I would take it if I could. Let’s face it I would have a farm full of animals if I could! So yes they should be locked up and left to me tortured like the poor helpless cat.

I thought about my own cats.  We have an aggressive dog who happens to love & protect our cats.  He licked one of the kittens clean when it was born.  None of my cats would even know to run because their only experience with dogs has been positive.  This cat clearly didn’t run, because the owner never let go of the leash.  This person deliberately killed an animal who trusted them BECAUSE the animal trusted them.  Hell isn’t hot enough for someone so vicious.

Why don’t we get this fired up about the abuse, mistreatment, cruelty, or murder of a child?  I think that yes, this was senseless, but if we would worry about our children half as much as we worry about our animals, the world would be a better place!

If anyone can be this cruel to a house pet, imagine how they are or can be with a human. i have no doughts he has no heart and would kill a human in the same manner as that poor cat. that is a huge red flag people!!!! Something is wrong with this person and he needs help and have his dog taken from him.
