Food Dipstick?

By Amy Wood
Tuesday, March 27, 2007

Periodically food gets dangerous.  It can make you sick.  So sick you can die.  Now researchers at the University of South Carolina have come up with a device you can insert into food you suspect might not be safe, to check.  So is this really needed?  Would you use the dipstick like device to test your food?  Join the conversation below. I’ll see you on your CW News at Ten.

I would not use this device.  I take no chances with food. I do not do leftovers.

I don’t think I would use this device. I use the three day rule or everything. Even cookies and cakes. If it has been cooked for three days it is out. I use meat by the sale by day usually.

I think it’s a wonderful idea for when you’re eating out or having spinach or peanut butter.  Does it work on food?
