Are you aware that, while your reporter was giving the details of a fatal car crash that occurred because of the snow, you had the caption on the bottom of the screen: LET IT SNOW???  How do you suppose her family and friends feel about that?

And, as for being ‘happy’ to see snow, perhaps you could interview homeless persons tonight, or those who are unable to buy heat for their homes.  Or, perhaps those motorists who might be stranded tonight miles from home or a hotel.  It’s understandable that small children get all excited over snow, but in adults it’s simply irresponsible.

Certainly we did not mean to be insensitive to this family during their personal tragedy.  Craig mentioned their sad news as part of an effort to make folks aware that while the snow is pretty and fun for some, it is also dangerous and sometimes deadly.
