Remember Lisa Whelchel from the tv show Facts of Life in the 80s? She’s had quite a life since she left tv in the late 80’s. You can see my interview with her here and leave your comments. Look for the Lisa Whelchel interview on WSPA’s video playlist.
Lisa’s in the upstate to take part in the Extraordinary Women Conference at the Bi-Lo Center this weekend. And no, she’s not anything like the snotty, rich character we loved to hate on the show, named Blair. She’s super nice, and has turned into a talented Christian Author and speaker. Moms will love her!
She’s also doing a photo shoot in the area, as the catalog spokesperson for Christian Supply. It was a pleasure to meet her. I was a huge fan of the tv show! And I have her book, The Busy Mom’s Guide to Prayer.
