Morning Walk turns deadly

When I heard about the sweet elderly couple, with a morning routine, wiped out, just trying to take a walk, my heart broke.
Imagine being relatives of this couple, that from neighbor descriptions, sound just precious… just like your grandmother, or grandfather. Or your mom or dad.
Imagine getting the phone call, that of all things, a morning stroll came to such a tragic end.
Troopers tell our reporters a jeep came up on the sidewalk and hit them. The driver never stopped.
Billy and Ruth Carey were both killed on West Parker road, not far from Monaview Elementary School at around 7 this morning.
The hunt is on for a dark Jeep Liberty with heavy front end damage.

i think that you have to have a very shallow heart to drive away like that. i hope they catch the person and put them in jail. knowing they killed to people like that. there heart has to be heavy with guilt.
This is just horrible!!! I hate this for the family of the couple. My prayers go out to them!!

However…....I did see where they got the girl who did this that claimed she had fallen asleep?? Come on now!!?? You will pay for this!!!!!!!
This is a very sad story, but wouldn’t we have all been terrified if we had been the ones who hit them? All of us can say what we would do in this situation, but none of us knows until it happens. I do wonder if the one who hit them was drunk and had to leave until they sobbered up…
My heart goes out to the family they will
be in my prayers. As far as the girl going to sleep this i do not believe not one bit whatever
she gets it’s not enough she knew what she was doing.
