Emerald City Skate in Greenwood, was caught on tape, as the place packed with hundreds of kids on a Saturday night, got out of control. Cops say kids were figthing and to break it up and regain control, they had to fire pepper spray. We’re told they fired the pepper spray three times and dozens of kids wound up at the hospital. The youngest children impacted were just six years old. So did police do the right thing? Should parents be upset? Join the conversation below and I’ll see you on Your CW News at Ten.

Pepper spray is a non-lethal way to regain control. It is sad that a six year old was caught in the middle of it. A parent or guardian needs to accompany their children to help prevent things like this from happening: just my opinion.
Act like animals, get treated like animals….
Mike this children are not animals but curious humans like us all. I personally didn’t see anything wrong with the pepper spray but I don’t know how I would feel if my child would have been there. Mike?
Lisa, so your saying that you would leave you 6 year old unsupervised at a skating ring? What kind of parent are you?
