Rain! Wow! Now the threat of tornados

Keep your eye on the weather Tuesday. There is a threat for tornaodos. Storm Team Seven will be tracking it. Get the latest watches and warnings here.
When we haven’t seen a full day of rain since March, the steady beat of those drops gets the social networks going. People on Twitter, MySpace and Facebook… have been going nuts expressing themselves.
Twitterdoug sent out this picture as the storms approached.
Then the messages started pouring in.
On Twitter:
josephnilo: Good News: some rain from the storm broke the drought. Bad News: Now I have to mow my freakin lawn.”

Keep and eye on the rain Monday night into Tuesday. Our Meteorologists are expecting some heavy potentially flooding rains.

All of you rain wishers can thank me...every single time I cut the grass it rains, and boy is it raining here now....I HATE THE RAIN!!!! No matter how bad we need the rain, I HATE IT!!!!! Guess I will have to cut the grass AGAIN!!!!
The rain was very much needed! My car was so happy to get washed off. With the water restrictions, it was starting to look pretty bad.

i could not believe what i heard this morning on all the acidents. What is wrong with people?!! it makes me scared to drive around here, i was scared in the winter time,i’m from the north so i know how to drive on ice and snow, but it’s the other people who don’t and go out to drive on it. now i have to think twice when it rains, what? do people go brain dead when they get behind the wheel? they think there anti-lock breaks are with super powers and make their tires grib when on slick roads or from hydroplaneing cause they are driveing to fast? Wake up ya’ll!!!
I am so glad we finally are getting some rain. My poor garden needed it. Although I don’t like to drive in the rain because of all the people who think rain doesn’t affect their driving I am really glad of it. Maybe now some of the restrictions will be dropped and the threat of fires will go down.
