A change in the rules, to keep smokers from lighting up in cars when children are inside.  What do you think. Is it enforceable? Will you play by this rule?  Sound off.  And I’ll see you on Your CW News at Ten.

It’s unenforceable.  I don’t want anybody to smoke in the car with a baby, but there aren’t enough hours in the day to watch everybody who smokes to see if they’re lighting up in the car.  We don’t have enough time or officers to keep track of people who physically or sexually abuse children.  If we add another law that can’t be enforced in the first place, we take time away from enforcing laws that ARE practical.

I am a health care professional and for years I have thought that smoking around children was a form of child abuse!! A child cannot pick and choose with whom they must associate.

Where do they get the right to tell people that they can’t smoke in their cars when they’re allowed to talk on cell phones with their kids in the car.Why is it that people harp on smoking and nothing is ever said about people DRINKING!!Every time you go some where you have to put up with a drunk but America seems to think that’s o.k. They need to ban talking on a cell phone while anybody is in the car unless it is an emergency (wreck or broke down)only not to talk to friends or do business that is what weekends and offices are for! People need to quit worring about all the stupid stuff and worry about their driving because people can’t drive now days because they don’t pay ATTENTION!!!!!!

No, I don’t smoke, but I still dont think that is right to be able to tell people that they arent allowed to smoke in their cars while there children are in them too.  People smoke in there houses with there children in them, they aren’t trying to stop that.  It should be there choice whether or not they chose to smoke in front of there children.  If it is there child or children, they are paying for there health care, insurance, doctors visits, medication, instead of trying to pass a law where they can’t smoke in their cars with children in it, they can raise the cost of insruance of smokers with children that are living in the home.  People pay for THEIR cars, THEIR houses, and any thing else THEY buy, they should be able to do what they want in them, as long as it is not illegal.  They keep making laws making it illegal to smoke in so many places, that before long, it will be illegal to smoke any where period.  I think that there are bigger problems in this country that the government needs to worry about, other than smoking in cars with children.

What’s next, telling me i can’t smoke in my own house? personally,i think the government needs to keep their noses out of peoples business, out of MY home, and MY car, which the last time i checked,I paid for.and as far as it “annoying” people to see someone smoking in a car, with or without kids, people need to learn to mind their own business.it’s no different than if you ,“pop” your childs rear-end for misbehaving and everyone wants to call the police screaming,“CHILD-ABUSE!!!“THATS WHAT’S WRONG WITH THIS COUNTRY NOW,EVERYBODY WANTS TO CRITICIZE EVERYONE ELSE,WHEN THEY NEED TO CLEAN UP THEIR OWN PROBLEMS BEFORE WORRYING ABOUT whether i’m smoking a cigarette in my car with my child

Martin Luther King died for our Freedom. It is our right to do what ever we choose in our car. These people act as tho they buy our cars.If it is so bad then they need to make the producers stop producing. In other words stop making
cigirettes.HOW WOULD THESE LAW MAKERS FEEL IF WE THE PEOPLE TRIED TO TELL THEM WHAT THEY COULD OR COULD NOT DO?
