The can of football worms is officially open…

Greer gets to have a football season after all.

After allegations of breaking the rules at practice, a hearing cleared the Greer team of any wrong doing.  They can play ball.

The team that “turned them in” says it really didn’t, it was just looking for a clarification from the high school league.

In the process of defending what it was doing, Greer showed the league web pictures from teams basically doing the same thing.  Now the league is looking into all of those schools pictured in the web shots pointed out to the High School League.

So what’s your reaction to this battle off the field, that apparently isnt’ over.

Unenforceable rules, and this is one, weaken any system.  Get off the backs of the schools and change the rule.  It’s silly & arbitrary.

Follow the rules and nothing like this happens…

I don’t believe it was a clarification of rules that Greenville High School was after!  I think they were snitches!
