Top Model: Fierce Eyes

First of all, I’m sorry I’m late on this. I was out of the office yesterday and unable to post the blog. But here it is!
Okay, so when did Hannah get so snarky? Analeigh is concerned about being in the bottom two and she tells her she’s in a pity party. (First of all, it’s having a pity party, not being in a pity party, but that’s beside the point.) Just made me want her to leave, especially after Analeigh was so nice to her after that fiasco a couple of weeks ago. By the way, Hannah’s voice reminds me of a cartoon character, but I can’t think of which one. Lisa Simpson? Meg Griffin? I don’t know.
Didn’t you just love the high-heeled bowling shoes? As if bowling shoes aren’t hideous enough. I thought it was kind of funny when Isis bragged about being so good at runway and then slipped within just a few steps and almost bit it. That “pride goeth before a fall” thing was no joke. Then she talks about how Hannah has potential, but needs a lot of training, like she’s some sort of expert. I mean, what she said was true, but still.
Miss J: “She looks like the Eveready Bunny.” Umm…that would be the Energizer Bunny. I’m sure the folks at Energizer would be thrilled that their brand came through so well.
Velma from Scooby Doo?
As you know, the girls found out that one would be going home after the runway challenge. Hannah probably deserved it, but I couldn’t believe Samantha lifted up her dress at the end of the runway after the designer specifically told her not to do that. If she’d gotten booted, she would have deserved it, too.
Was I the only one who thought of the skit from Carol Burnett when McKey came out with the curtain rod across her shoulders? “I saw it in the window and just had to have it.” That’s probably my favorite Carol Burnett skit of all time. Okay, right up there with the Tim Conway/Harvey Korman dentist skit. They just don’t make shows like that anymore!
Elmira from Tiny Toons?
I was happy for Joslyn when she won the challenge! I just love her! It’s great to see somebody who wants it so much do well.
The photo shoot was interesting and there were so many varied looks from the girls. I thought most of them did well, even the ones that the judges didn’t think did well. It was great to see Clark called first. South Carolina girl representing!
It was probably time for Isis to go. She was too self-conscious about the differences in her body, and rightfully so, I guess. Again, though, I’m just thinking that her presence in this competition may cause problems later if guys start wanting to try out for the show. Can Tyra and Co. rightfully keep them out? I don’t know.
So, next week Marjorie’s insecurity starts getting on the other girls’ nerves and they confront a monster in the photo shoot! Scary! See you then!
Jimmy Neutron?
