Top Model: Good Times and Windmills

Before I talk about the show, just wanted to mention that Top Model was a major story line on one of my other favorite shows, The Big Bang Theory, on Monday! Penny, the beautiful blonde, got the geeks hooked on the show and then Howard and Rajesh spent the whole show trying to figure out where in L.A. the Top Model house is located. They finally found it at the end of the episode and dropped by posing as cable repairmen. Who answered the door? None other than Analeigh and Samantha! Just thought that was really cool and a great plug for ANTM!
But on to the show at hand… Samantha is just too funny. Some of the stuff she says just cracks me up. Paulina isn’t my favorite person, but she hit the nail on the head when she called her the “clown” of the group. Without her, this show would be incredibly boring. Could you imagine it just being McKey, Analeigh and Marjorie? Zzzzz… (Although, I have to say Marjorie got more interesting this week.) Tell me, though, what’s up with that Pebbles Flintstone hairdo Sam keeps sporting around the house?
Analeigh is just too sweet. She’s so encouraging to everyone. I can’t recall her saying anything bad about anybody in the house. Every cycle has its sweetheart and it’s good to see this cycle’s going so far in the competition. The way she looked out for Marjorie when she was drunk out of her mind was probably way more than Marjorie deserved.
I really, really think that McKey is the best model in this group. She’s the one I could see in magazines in the future. I just wish her personality was a little more outgoing. I think it would serve her well to be a little more outrageous.
There’s not really a whole lot more I can say about this episode except that I’m glad Samantha stayed instead of Marjorie. Not just because Marjorie doesn’t seem to be able to get it together, but because I wouldn’t want the finale next week to be a snoozefest. I’m looking for McKey and Analeigh to be in the final two. I think McKey would make the best winner, but Analeigh should be an actress. She has more than just modeling talent.
