What is with this whole Elina thing?  The girl has nine lives, for corn’s sake!!!  I couldn’t believe it when Tyra pulled out her picture at the end.  How many chances will she get? I actually wrote the words, “Are you kidding me???” on my notes.

But I guess I’m ahead of myself…

The house they are in is so awesome!  But what was with the pictures of Whitney everywhere?

So… Analeigh, Marjorie and Elina all bathing together? Okay.  I can see how Elina would enjoy it, but the other two?  And how rude to be so loud when everybody else wanted to sleep after their long flight and the mad rush to find the house.  That’s pretty much par with Elina and crew, though.  Except Analeigh.  I expect better from her.

I laughed at what McKey was saying about Elina, who was going on and on about how Amsterdam reminded her of the Ukraine and how she’d love to live there permanently.  (Well, do it, I was thinking.)  McKey said if she wants to live there, she should try out for Holland’s Next Top Model.  *snicker*

I know Elina is probably thinking she comes off as open-minded and progressive when she says she doesn’t have a problem with prostitution, but in my opinion, she just comes off looking dumb.  And what about her arguing with Samantha just because she feels differently about it?  I just think it’s funny how the people who most preach tolerance are the most intolerant of other people’s beliefs and views.  It seems tolerance only goes for those who agree with them.

I liked McKey a lot better in this episode and she looked amazing at the photo shoot.  I was afraid for her when it seemed she was getting the spotlight this week and when she said something about how she was determined to get called first I thought, “Uh oh.”  But it turns out she was!  So I guess there’s a such thing as a positive spotlight, too.

Elina really looked a lot like Julia Stiles at the photo shoot.  Just thought I’d mention that.

On a side note, what was with the Bluefly.com commercial with the girl going through the airport nude?  I didn’t get it. And it didn’t make me want to visit Bluefly.com.  (Disclaimer: In no way am I endorsing this website.  Quite the opposite, actually.)

Anyway…  I guess Elina’s dream of her and Sheena in the bottom two came true, except they weren’t both crying like she said.  Sheena took it well.  I’m disappointed she’s gone - because I’d started to really like her and because it meant Elina stayed.  Boo.

Next week, GO-SEES!  That’s always fun to watch.  C-ya!
