Top Model: The Girl Who Does Not Want to Dance

I hope Natasha wins the WHOLE THING!  I was kind of leaning toward her anyway after Brittany was sent home, but after this episode, I hope she leaves the other girls in the dust.

I’ll admit I was pretty grossed out by Natasha’s conversation with her husband on the phone.  Yes it was kind of disgusting and a conversation better held in private.  But that’s no reason for the other girls to turn on her like that.  She’s been probably the nicest one to everyone in the house and has tried to be friends with everyone - she deserves so much better than the treatment she got this week.

It seems Renee has returned to her two-faced ways after weeks of playing nice.  I believe Renee knows that Natasha is her biggest competition, so she collaborated with Jaslene and Dionne to try to force her out.  The worst was that Renee acted all concerned about Natasha being sick and hugged her and then went behind her back to talk about her.  I was really starting to like Renee, but I guess she’s reverted to her same old ways.

The conversation in the night club bothered me, as they insinuated that Natasha was lying about her husband and family.  I was literally talking back to the television as they sat there like three witches around a boiling pot.  “I’ve never seen a picture of her husband,” one said.  Well, the viewers have because it was shown on TV.  “I don’t even know her husband’s name.”  It’s Stuart.  And her little girl’s name is Angelina - they showed a picture of her, too.

The worst was the way they all ganged up on her at panel when each girl was asked who had the least model potential.  Everyone in the universe knows that Dionne is the weakest girl left, but every single one of them chose Natasha.  They called her fake and phony.  I thought she handled it extremely well, even going so far as to say the girls were still her friends.  With friends like that, who needs enemies, right?

When Tyra said what she did at the end, I wanted to jump up and yell!  I was floored when it came down to Natasha and Dionne and she kept saying things about how there must be some reason why the other three girls all turned against her and how they live with her and the judges must rely on them to know what she is really like.  Then when she pulled out the picture of Natasha and said something like, “Natasha, the judges think maybe it’s just jealousy,” I screamed “Yes!”  It was almost as good as a game-winning grand slam in the bottom of the ninth!  Jaslene’s jaw dropping was classic.

So I say, “Go, Natasha!”  The other two girls have shown their true colors - they are the fake and phony ones.  Next week is the big finale and I hope all you guys tune in!  In the meantime, let me know how you felt about the way Natasha was treated in this episode.  Did she deserve it after her bizarre behavior?  Is she really fake like the other girls think?  Or is it all just jealousy?  Speaking of game-winning grand slams, I need to flip over check to see how my Braves are doing.  See you next week when we find out who becomes America’s Next Top Model!
