Troops are home

By Amy Wood
Tuesday, April 10, 2007

When national guard troops were sent to Mississippi to train for deployment to afghanistan, some realized when their ten day leave came up, they couldn’t afford to return home for one last visit.  And when the story hit tv the community responded. Today the generosity paid off for close to 200 famlies who got that one last visit with their soldiers.  You can comment below. I’ll see you on your CW News at Ten.

I admire our troops and what they are doing for our country. I am glad they got a chance to come home thanks to the generosity of others.

BTW, Amy, guard is spelled guard, not gaurd.

LOL

=)

I can’t imagine how tough it must be saying good-bye to someone you love who is headed to the Middle East.  I admire the troops, but I also admire their families just as much.  I’m glad they got to spend this time with them.  I’m praying for the war to end soon.
