Pretty exciting stuff! How often does a local builder get in on the Extreme Makeover Home Edition action?

An area log cabin manufacturer is building a home for the popular show!

Blue Ridge Log Cabins was selected and held a pep rally Friday, at their Campobello facility in Spartanburg County.

Senior producer of the TV show, Milan Vasic headlined the pep rally with employees.

Blue Ridge has been featured on HGTV and Inc. Magazine’s list of the fastest growing private companies in America.

Blue Ridge will build the home for an episode that airs this fall on ABC.

90 percent of the production will be done on site before it’s transported to the site in Fayetteville, NC.  They are three weeks into building it.

It will be the first time Extreme Makeover has featured a modular home.  The producer told Blue Ridge employees, close to 10 million people watch the show each week.

The future homeowner in Fayetteville will not be revealed until the programʼs “door knock” on July 14.
