She probably had no choice. If she didn’t do it, the media would have kept houning her.  So now you can spot Jaycee Dugard on the cover of people telling her story.

According to interviews on the Today show People paid her to do this, and she has no income right now, so it likely helped Jaycee’s bottom line.  Experts also discussed how taking her story publically slowly in a controlled fashion, will help prepare Jaycee to testify in court.
