SOCIAL BUSINESS: Arts a Go-Go Road Rally benefits Charles Lea Center Foundation
What a GROOVY road rally this year.

The Rally Masters Brant and Judy Bynum dubbed it: Arts A Go-Go. And it lived up to the fun name!

People raced around Spartanburg, getting on stage, getting their groove on in Miss Marion’s Dance School, visiting local artists and galleries and creating masterpieces.
The three art pieces alone, raked in over 1 thousand dollars in an impromptu live auction!

Every participant added a brush stroke or two!

Many of course dressed for the theme. FOXY LADIES came out on top in the costume contest.

And they raffled off all kinds of door prizes.

Amara turned into my co-emcee helping us announce all the winners.

I’ve got an interview with the Road Rally winners. Team name: Artsy Fartsy It’s A Gas! Team members: Rob Freeman, Julie Grant and Jennifer and Joseph Lever. They share some of the secrets to road rally success!
The best part of the Road Rally is the great people you meet. Like some of the youngest road rally-ers - Morgan and Madison.

Tremendous volunteer power is at work each year, to carry it off. Volunteers even serving up dinner!

My number one new buddy is Mark Clarkson who gets the prize for enthusiasm at this years event!

It all goes to help the Charles Lea Center Foundation.
Hats off to them for becoming a Social Business feature here on TheRibbit.com
Charles Lea now has both a Twitter and Facebook page.
