Twammogram time! Make your appointment
Social Media’s doing me a big favor! I got my reminder to go get my mammogram when some friends on Facebook got inspired, to get us all dialing for appointments. To draw attention they decided to live tweet their mammogram experience. They’re calling it Twammogram. And I’m in! What about you?

The idea is to twitter your mammogram, from dialing for your appointment, setting it up, showing up, getting “the big squeeze” to finally checking it off your list.

A mammogram is your best defense against breast cancer.
So get to it, ladies!
I’ll be video blogging my way to my Twammogram. And I am hunting for a mammogram operation here in the upstate that will allow me to Tweet through mine so I can spread the word.

Since some of the ladies that organized this are nurses in other parts of the country and they are getting their hospitals to let them tweet their mammograms, I am certain I will have no problem tweeting mine in the upstate.
