A variety of musical genres will be featured including Big Band, jazz, international, contemporary, bluegrass, marches and orchestral favorites.Ensembles and bands performing this summer will include the Carolina Youth Symphony, nief-norf percussion ensemble, Swing Shift Combo, Greenville Chorale, Greenville Brass Quintet, The Andy Carlson Band, S.C. Suzuki Institute Fiddlers and The Greenville Textile Band. The Lakeside Concert Band will perform at five of the concerts.

Just one more Jazz on the Square for the Spring Season! Pride is a contemporary jazz group that has been in existence since the mid-80s, founded at the South Carolina State University in Orangeburg. Pride is heavily rooted in the jazz idiom of performing music but is equipped to tackle any genre. Their core members all hold degrees in music and have performed with some of the world’s most noteworthy music professionals.
