DHEC Removes Signs From Mauldin Sewer Overflow, Water OK
– January 25, 2010
The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control says that the water taken from a sewer overflow near a Mauldin community shows no immediate signs of problems.
The overflow happened last week in Gilder Creek in Mauldin. DHEC spokesman Adam Myrick says that signs associated with the sewer overflow last week have been removed because test results of water samples taken from the immediate impact site of the overflow are comparable to samples taken upstream from the overflow.
