Driver Charged In Highway 20 Wreck In Anderson Co.

ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. -

Traffic is moving again after a wreck on Highway 20 near Big Creek Road in Anderson County.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol says it happened near the Cheddar Fire Department around 11 a.m.

The driver of a wrecker, 49-year-old Lee Evan Baker, Jr., of Belton was driving east when he over-corrected and ran off the left side of the road and hit several trees, according to troopers.

Baker was trapped inside the wrecker and had to be removed.  He was then airlifted to the hospital.

Baker is charged with driving too fast for conditions.
