14 year old’s Cooking School for Underpriviledged

image

Alexis Krcelic is 14 and has a big idea, that could potentially change her community. She wants to create a cooking school for underpriviledged kids in Greenville. She’s trying to win a 50 thosuand dollar grant from Pepsi’s Refresh project to make it possible. But she needs online votes to win.

As I write this she is 93rd on a list of more than 1,000 ideas.

Alexis writes:  “I a high school student who has attended cooking classes for three years. I won the Iron Chef Award at the school. I have a passion for baking and children. I have been on many mission trips, two to New Orleans. There I was inspired to open up a cooking school for underprivileged kids.”
