Denny’s Grand Slam Freebie - win or loss?  BLOGPOLL

So did Denny’s really win.  The company says yes, but at least one local blogger says no.

Doug Cone’s from Greenville. Unable to take the Denny’s wait ( he says some folks waited 3 hours for their free meal) Doug wound up at IHOP where he waited an hour to PAY for a meal.  In his blog he argues, IHOP and other breakfast spots were the real winners - and they made money on it.
