Nice flowers!   Are you buying?

Many Americans won’t be able to afford flowers this Valentines Day with their personal economy in the tank.  But everythings coming up roses at the White House.  Have you noticed?

I couldn’t help but notice when Matt Lauer showed up to interview President Barack Obama before the Superbowl.  They were in The Map Room of the White House and every shot showed off some pretty nice blossoms. 

Maybe they’re not fresh.  Just really nice “fake” flowers.  But they sure look real.  I’ll be shooting off an email to the White House to find out.  And if there are fresh flowers all over, how much does that cost?

I’ll let you know when I get some answers.   And yes I know, there are bigger fish to fry, but this one happened to slap me right in the face Superbowl Sunday.

Since most Americans are having to cut all the luxuries out of their lives, I’m figuring the White House could do the same, IF taxpayers are paying the flower bills.
