Did your school let out early due to the forecasted snow?
How inconvenient was that for you?
I had already pulled into the garage after running errands when at 10 minutes to 11, I got a message that school was letting out at 11. Frustrating for any parent to have to turn around and head back out. And I work strange hours so I wasn’t in the middle of a meeting or at the office.
There were plenty of those moms and dads out there who had to drop everything to handle the early dismissal pick up crisis. Share your stories here. And let me know if you think it was a smart move to have school at all today?
How many kids were lost to the occasional flurry out the window, never to regain their attention again? Can anyone really “learn” when everyone is just waiting for word that you’re going home?
We know its not an easy call for the schools to make, but would this have been the call you made?
