CJ and Julie Strides for Babies at Duncan Park Saturday Help Fight SIDS

I met Rickie Escalante in our Chat Room on the CW.  One of the first to join me online during News Channel 7 at 10.  Rickie had just had a baby.  She was happy, and excited. 

She’d post about having to run, the baby was up.  A dedicated loving mom, who one day stopped posting those things and called me to share the horrible news.  Her sweet baby died.  Later we’d learn it was SIDS sudden infant death syndrome.

Tomorrow Rickie and a friend have organized a first time event the CJ and Julie Strides for Babies at Duncan Park in Spartanburg.
