End of the War in Iraq

When I started to reflect on the start of the war in Iraq and the coverage I brought you on The Frontline, with reports from Carolina soldiers perspectives on the war, no one view seemed as relevant as one of three boots on the ground commanders who led the 3rd ID into Bagdad.

Then he was Lt. Col. Stephen Twitty.  He made television alot, as NBC journalist David Bloom was embedded with Twitty, 7 and a half years ago, covering the war.  Twitty is a native of Chesnee, SC in Spartanburg County.

Now he is a General and just back from another trip to Afghanistan.  I asked Brig. Gen. Twitty to leave us some thoughts on where we are, and what comes next.
