Facebook PLACES how it works. Should you? Shouldn’t you?
Facebook places launched last night, but based on your tweets and Facebook messages it’s not working everywhere. Want to make sure you know what to do?
The Tech site Mashable put together a “field guide” for Facebook Places.

But what about the concept of location based check in systems like FourSquare and now Places. Should you even do this? Is there a danger?
Personally I do it with care, never checking in at home, but only when I want folks to know where I am. To me as long as your Facebook Privacy settings are set correctly and ONLY your friends who you trust can see what you post, it should be safe. But again, you must make sure those settings keep the general public from seeing it.
Let me know what you think. And if you are a foursquare user will you do both? Only one? Which one?
