The story is sad. The outpouring of memories and concerns on Facebook is powerful.
4 to 5 feet of Floodwaters has left the Grand Ole Opry a flooded mess. More on the flooding in the region on WSPA.com

This picture of the stage door, posted on The Opry’s Facebook page, speaks volumes about the damage that will be left behind once the Floodwaters in Nashville recede.

And there are heartfelt posts of concern from fans around the world.
Donna Smith
“My heart goes out. While the Opry House is a national historical building, my first thought is the Museum adjoinging the Opry House. I hope they had time to get the artifacts out of the museum as well as that wonderful statue of Bill Monroe in the Opry. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the kind-hearted people who make Nashville their home. N’ville is my favorite city!”
