Help keep kids on the right track

For the two decades I’ve been here, I’ve heard about the Phllis Wheatley Center and the children it helps.  Now the 188 lives it changes could shrink to 20!  The center faces massive cuts.  Read our story on WSPA.com.  It needs more than 200 thousand dollars to keep going.  And one of you has an idea.  Can “Amy’s Army” make the difference?

Facebook fan Cynthia Rabbett posted this during our chat on Facebook during News Channel 7 at 10 last night.

A CHALLENGE TO ALL AMYS FB FANS!!! can we all donate $5.00 to this center? If every one with in the sound of Amy’s voice or her Facebook fans would give just $5.00 I think we could save this center!

And we won’t leave out the Twitter crowd! Come on tweeps!

Between both crowds, this “Amy’s Army” is 25,000 strong. So let’s do it!
