image

The producer of the upcoming Hannah Sobeski movie sat down to explain why he has to take Hannah’s journey of faith to the big screen. And there is something you can do to help him.

Ken Carpenter has won Dove Awards and worked with some of the biggest stars in the Christian music and film world.  Read more about him here.

He’s in Spartanburg with his family this week learning more about Hannah Sobeski, the teen facing terminal cancer, who became homecoming queen and captured the hearts and minds of people around the world.  And he’s learning more about the people and community who surrounded her.  Read more on Hannah’s story and the ministry it inspired here.

Ken’s visiting key locations, to take in the sights and sounds of the upstate and imagine them through the lens of his camera as he tells Hannah’s story.

WATCH his interview below.  And if you know anyone who has unedited video from the night Hannah was crowned homecoming queen at Dorman High School, please email me with contact info.  Ken wants to see as much raw unedited footage of that night as possible.

Look for cameras around Spartanburg in 2011, as this film maker comes to town to tell Hannah’s story.
