Summer Camps - the HUB is centered in Western North Carolina

Growing up, I went to a summer camp, one of those week away camps, twice.  Once a fun overall summer camp, another up in New Hampshire for Gymnastics.  I felt like the luckiest girl alive. 

These days with the economy tighter, and families struggling to pay the bills, its even harder to get one of these weeks away. 

This year my oldest is blessed to experience it.  And at one of the local stores they shared a map with me at the Wrinkled Egg that REALLY puts the camping experience in perspective.  17 camps close to Flat Rock.  Another 23 in the nearby Brevard and Asheville areas.
